Propolis comes from the hive. It is a resin that is collected by bees from the buds of trees such as fir, birch or poplar. The bees use it to seal the small holes in the hive and ensure its watertightness throughout the winter. Propolis is also used to sanitize dead insects (bees and others), present in the hive and which could be carriers of bacteria. After the honeyharvest,it is extracted manually.
With its content of anti-inflammatory and healing active ingredients, propolis is a popular ingredient in skin care. Indeed, it facilitates the regeneration of sensitive skin and improves pathologies such as eczema and psoriasis.
It soothes irritated areas and relieves skin discomfort.
