Hyaluronic acid

The hyaluronic acid molecule has undeniable moisturizing properties. Naturally present in the human body, hyaluronic acid hydrates the epidermis and allows it to retain its youthfulness. Over time, the quantities of hyaluronic acid present in our body decrease. Every decade, we lose 8% of our hyaluronic acid reserve. By the time we reach our fifties, we only have 50% of it left. This is why wrinkles appear and the skin relaxes as we age. Hyaluronic Acid therefore plays a vital role in the hydration and elasticity of the skin.
